Clad in a red sari and flaunting diamonds and emeralds, Shilpa Shetty exchanged wedding vows with London-based businessman Raj Kundra in a close-knit family affair in Khandala.

Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty is now a married woman.

In one of the most awaited weddings of Tinseltown, the actress tied the knot with London-based businessman Raj Kundra in a lavish ceremony in Khandala.

The 34-year-old actress wed in a traditional Mangalorean ceremony at businesswoman Kiran Bawa’s villa in Khandala, 100 kms from here, in the presence of close friends and family.

The actress who shot to international fame with her stint in UK reality show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ did not invite many of her Bollywood associates with only Sunny Deol, Suneil Shetty, Jackky shroff and Vasu Bhagnani attending the private ceremony which was out of bounds for the media.

Life has changed drastically after the entry of Raj Kundra. “When you don’t have a man, you have a lot of time on your hands. But enter Raj, and 24 hours in a day are just not enough. He has truly been the wind beneath my wings,” states the actress. “I’ve learnt some of my best lessons during my courtship. I’ve learnt to put personal relationships ahead of personal ambitions…”

About the big day and life after it, the glamorous girl says, “This is my dream wedding. We plan to shuttle between Mumbai and London after marriage. I shall strive to be as successful at home (as a wife, daughter, sister) as I am outside. I want to excel as a homemaker!”

Shilpa Shetty To Compensate 17 Lakhs !!

Gauri Khan, 22, who has done an item number, has ended up with her face disfigured after the chemical pigmentation programme at one of the city’s top spas. That spa co-owned by Shilpa Shetty.
Gauri Khan signed up for the 14-session glow and pigmentation treatment in June last year. For this she paid the spa Rs thirty-eight thousand ahead of the treatment. However a year down the line her visage is peeling, wrinkled and covered with ugly dark spots reducing a beautiful women to move around with her face covered. In addition she claims that she has lost on all possibilities of work.

The model has registered a non-cognisable complaint at Oshiwara police station and sent a legal notice to Bawa and Shilpa Shetty claiming Rs seventeen lakh in compensation. Iosis lawyers have denied all of her charges saying that she did not take adequate care while undergoing these treatments.
